Support WHAT we do
Lexington Children’s Theatre is one of the oldest continuously operating theatres for young people in the country, and we are proud to be the State Children’s Theatre of Kentucky, a distinction granted to LCT by the Kentucky Legislature in 1986. We serve more than 60,000 people throughout the Commonwealth every year in more than 50 counties through our Main Stage performances, Education Department, Touring Productions, and Shooting Stars Youtheatre, based in Rowan County.
Contributions to LCT’s Annual Fund help us bridge the gap between ticket sales and the actual costs to produce quality, live theatre. Approximately half of funds needed to operate come from supporters like YOU!

As the State Children’s Theatre of Kentucky, LCT has been delighting, educating, and providing children with a supportive outlet for their imaginations through more than 400 productions over 86 years. It’s now time to invest in our future and give our beloved downtown Lexington home a facelift so we can continue to be a beacon for arts education across the Commonwealth.
