Yes, he can. John Henry can do what he puts his mind to. Stronger than a river roustabout, faster than a horse, some say he has steel in his veins. When a new steel driving machine comes to town, John Henry — knowing he is stronger than any steam engine — sets out for the Big Bend Tunnel on the C and O Railroad with his little lady Polly. Will they prove once and for all, the strength of a person is measured not only in muscle, but in heart?
